Our Beginnings | ||||
Rotary began in 1905 with a meeting of its founder, Paul Harris, and three other business acquaintances in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. Today Rotary is an International organization with 1,217,037 Rotarians in 33,135 clubs in 168 countries. | ||||
The Madera Rotary Club | ||||
The Madera Rotary Club is one of 52 clubs in District 5220 which is geographically located in Central California from Madera to Galt and includes Sonora and Groveland to the East and Los Banos, Tracy and Newman to the West. Madera Rotary was chartered on May 1, 1922. There are currently 76 members. | ||||
