2008 Rotary Regatta
On May 14, 2008 the Madera Sunrise Rotary Club invited Madera Rotary to join them in their annual Regatta.  This is a family social which was held at the home of Steve King in Madera.  Rotarians were invited to build their own boats which would be fan propelled in a backyard swimming pool.  The Sunrise Club lost the membership contest and did all the BBQ and meal service.  Our own Chris Monroe and his "Black Pearl" took a second place in the overall contest!
